This modern A-frame style residence captivates from every angle.
Our task was to create a modern, A-frame style home with two pavilions—one for living spaces and one for bedrooms. Taking advantage of the breathtaking views of the river to the back of the block, we incorporated a pool into the courtyard, making it the central focus of the home. The goal was to design light-filled living spaces with a strong emphasis on energy efficiency through passive heating and cooling techniques.
The outcome is a stunning A-frame home with character, featuring two pavilions. The centralized entry provides a captivating view over the courtyard swimming pool to the river beyond. Drawing on our unique experience, cost-effective raked ceilings were implemented in the living areas. A clever design choice in the garage created both mezzanine and in-roof storage solutions. The living, kitchen, and dining areas boast raked ceilings, directing views straight to the river and the inviting courtyard swimming pool.
